Frequently Asked Questions

Is this only for the US?

Yes. Motorcycle Weather is powered by NOAA and the National Weather Service, which provides data for all 50 states and US territories including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands.

What weather data do you use?

All weather data comes from the National Weather Service via the weather.gov API. This is the same data used by official NWS forecasts — reliable, free, and updated frequently.

Do I need to create an account?

No. You can try Motorcycle Weather instantly as a guest — no signup required. Create a free account to save your searches, and new accounts get a 24-hour Pro trial with full access to all features.

How accurate are ride quality scores?

Ride quality scores factor in temperature, wind speed and gusts, precipitation probability, and visibility. They are generated using a trained model on NWS forecast data to give you a quick sense of riding conditions.

Is there a mobile app?

Motorcycle Weather is a responsive web app that works on any device — phone, tablet, or desktop. It also supports installation as a Progressive Web App (PWA) for an app-like experience with offline access.
